- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the bowl.
- Crack the egg into the mixture. Pour in the soy sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, and thyme.
- Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar. Heat until bubbling, then simmer.
- Cook the meatballs in a skillet with olive oil. Brown them on all sides.
- Add the honey garlic sauce to the skillet with the meatballs. Simmer until cooked through.
