Croissant Boats:
- 4 large croissants
Egg Mixture:
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 – 5 strips bacon, chopped
- 3 tablespoons chives (or green onions), chopped fine
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray oil on a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Prepare Croissants: Remove a large portion of the top of each croissant with a knife, being sure to leave a rim around the bottom part of the croissant.
- Make Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat the milk into the eggs. Stir in cheese, bacon, and chives (or green onion).
- Fill Croissants: Spoon the egg mixture into the prepared croissant boats. Place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake in the oven for about 22 minutes or until golden brown and the egg mixture is set.
