Instructions
- Heat butter: Heat a large pan over medium heat and melt the butter until fully melted and slightly sizzling.
- Sauté vegetables: Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and jalapeño to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables soften and become fragrant.
- Cook ground beef: Add the ground beef to the pan with the vegetables. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until the beef is fully browned and the vegetables are tender, about 7-8 minutes.
- Drain excess grease: Carefully drain any excess grease from the pan and return the beef and vegetable mixture back to the pan.
- Add seasonings: Stir in the soy sauce (if using), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine all the flavors evenly.
