Bread:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- 1 and 1/2 cups mashed ripe banana (about 4 bananas)
Cinnamon Swirl:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Garnish:
- 6 thin slices of ripe banana
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking soda. Fold in mashed bananas.
- Prepare Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon swirl ingredients until thick and well combined.
- Layer Batter and Swirl: Spread batter in the pan, adding layers of cinnamon sugar swirl in between. Create swirls with a knife or spoon.
- Bake: Bake for 60-70 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. If needed, cover with foil to prevent over-browning.
- Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
