  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 10 Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and generously butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan.
  2. Make cake: Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix in flour mixture and buttermilk.
  3. Spoon batter: Spoon half the batter into prepared bundt pan and smooth. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add remaining batter and smooth.
  4. Bake cake: Bake for 40 to 44 minutes until golden and tester comes out clean. Cool in pan, then invert onto rack.
  5. Cinnamon sugar topping: Brush warm cake with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Let cool before serving.
