Cake:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 10 Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and generously butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan.
- Make cake: Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix in flour mixture and buttermilk.
- Spoon batter: Spoon half the batter into prepared bundt pan and smooth. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add remaining batter and smooth.
- Bake cake: Bake for 40 to 44 minutes until golden and tester comes out clean. Cool in pan, then invert onto rack.
- Cinnamon sugar topping: Brush warm cake with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Let cool before serving.
