Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta and Broccoli: Cook fettuccine according to package directions, adding the broccoli florets to the boiling water during the final 3 minutes of cooking. Drain both and set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  4. Make Alfredo Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and a pinch of nutmeg if using. Continue cooking and stirring until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the drained pasta and broccoli. Toss everything until evenly coated in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
