Garlic Cloves:

Green Onion:

1 bunch (green part only)

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (or regular sugar)
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice and Prepare Vegetables: Slice onion, carrots, cabbage, garlic, and green onion.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Mix dark soy sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, corn starch, water, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper in a bowl.
  3. Cook Noodles: Cook 8 oz. egg noodles for 5 minutes, then rinse under cold water.
  4. Cook Vegetables: In a hot pan, cook garlic, carrots, and onion for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and cook for 2 more minutes.
  5. Combine: Add noodles, sauce, and green onions to the pan. Cook for an additional minute until noodles are coated.
  6. Serve: Plate the Lo Mein and enjoy!
