A creamy and delicious Spinach Artichoke Dip that’s easy to make and perfect for parties or snacks. This warm dip combines creamy cheeses, tender spinach, and flavorful artichokes baked to bubbly perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Vegetables

  • 16 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained or 812 oz. fresh spinach, cooked and drained
  • 18 oz. artichoke hearts, chopped in half

Seasonings & Cheese

  • 3/4 Tbsp. garlic salt (or 23 cloves fresh grated garlic with 12 tsp fine sea salt)
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Additional shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the dip evenly.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, garlic salt or fresh garlic with salt, onion powder, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until uniformly blended.
  3. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle additional shredded cheese evenly over the surface of the combined mixture for a golden, bubbly finish.
  4. Bake the Dip: Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted and starting to brown.
  5. Serve Warm: Remove from oven and serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh spinach for frozen spinach if you prefer; just be sure to cook and drain it well to avoid excess moisture.
  • For a stronger garlic flavor, use fresh garlic cloves instead of garlic salt adjusting salt accordingly.
  • The dip can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking; just increase baking time slightly if baking from cold.
  • Use a mix of cheeses or add creamier cheeses like fontina for a different texture.
  • Serve with pita chips, sliced baguette, or raw veggie sticks for variety.
