Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Chop all vegetables and the chicken if it is not ground, and mince the garlic cloves separately, reserving one for later use.
  2. Start cooking chicken and aromatics: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the chicken and chopped cauliflower, cooking and stirring occasionally for 4-5 minutes until the chicken is nearly cooked through.
  3. Add remaining vegetables and flavorings: Introduce the chopped cabbage and grated carrots to the pan. Stir in 1 tablespoon tamari sauce along with the remaining minced garlic. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and vegetables have softened. Optionally, sprinkle turmeric and crushed red pepper flakes to taste during this step.
  4. Garnish and serve: Remove the lid, stir the mixture gently, and serve topped with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions for added flavor and texture.
