Blondie Batter:
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Icing:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Prepare the blondie batter: In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in the flour and salt—do not overmix.
- Make the cinnamon swirl: In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until it looks like wet sand.
- Assemble: Spread the blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the top and gently swirl using a butter knife.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean. Cool completely before icing.
- Make the icing: Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix until creamy. Drizzle over the cooled blondies.
