- 3 cloves garlic, lightly crushed and peeled

Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Toss the sliced sweet potatoes in a bowl with melted butter, chopped thyme, kosher salt, and coarse ground black pepper ensuring all pieces are well coated.
- Arrange and Bake: Arrange the seasoned sweet potatoes in a single layer on a metal baking pan. Place the pan on the top-middle rack of a preheated oven at 500°F (260°C).
- First Roast: Bake the sweet potatoes for about 10-15 minutes per side until golden brown. Flip the potatoes after the first 10-15 minutes and again midway to ensure even roasting on all sides.
- Add Broth and Garlic: After flipping for the third time, add the chicken broth and crushed garlic cloves to the pan. Roast for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the broth to steam and infuse the sweet potatoes with flavor, while softening them further.
- Serve: Remove from oven once potatoes are tender, caramelized, and infused with garlic and thyme. Serve warm as a flavorful side dish.
