  • Author: lina
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 20-24 brownie bites 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These No Bake Brownie Bites are a delicious and healthy treat made with raw nuts, dates, and cacao powder. They are easy to prepare, require no baking, and are perfect for a quick snack or dessert that satisfies chocolate cravings while providing natural sweetness and nutritious ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Wet Ingredients

  • 12 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup (optional, if you need it sweeter)

Instructions

  1. Combine Nuts and Dates: Add the walnuts, almonds, and pitted medjool dates into a food processor along with cacao powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Process Ingredients: Process the mixture until a sticky dough forms. If the dough is crumbly, add 1-2 tablespoons of water and process again to help ingredients adhere.
  3. Add Sweetener and Mix: Add the optional maple syrup now if you want a sweeter bite. Then add mini chocolate chips into the food processor and pulse a few times gently just to combine without fully blending in the chips.
  4. Form the Bites: Using a mini cookie scoop or teaspoon, scoop out the dough and roll it into bite-sized balls with your hands.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately or store the brownie bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • Use medjool dates for natural sweetness and softness; other dates may not yield the same texture.
  • If mixture is too dry, add water a little at a time to achieve desired stickiness.
  • Store bites in the fridge to keep them firm and fresh.
  • Can be frozen for longer storage; thaw before eating.
  • For a nut-free version, substitute nuts with seeds such as sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
