  • 23 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 12 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

For Serving:

  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 2 cups cooked broccoli

Instructions

  1. Whisk sauce: Whisk together all sauce ingredients except cornstarch in a medium bowl.
  2. Marinate salmon: Add salmon cubes to the sauce and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Sauté: In a pan, sauté minced garlic, grated ginger, and oil over medium/low heat for about 2 minutes.
  4. Cook salmon: Cook marinated salmon cubes on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Thicken sauce: In a small saucepan, simmer the remaining sauce and cornstarch mixture until thick.
  6. Add sauce to salmon: Combine most of the sauce with the cooked salmon and simmer briefly to meld flavors.
