Santa Hat Brownie Bites Recipe

  • Author: lina
  • Total Time: 42 minutes
  • Yield: 24 brownie bites 1x

Description

Santa Hat Brownie Bites are adorable mini chocolate brownies topped with fresh strawberries and fluffy vanilla whipped cream, shaped to look like festive Santa hats. These bite-sized treats are perfect for holiday parties, combining rich, fudgy brownie with light and creamy topping for a playful and delicious dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Batter

  • 1 Package Brownie Mix
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • ¼ Cup Water

Toppings

  • 24 Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the brownie bites.
  2. Prepare Muffin Pan: Lightly grease a mini muffin pan with oil or nonstick spray, then dust it with flour to prevent sticking.
  3. Mix Brownie Batter: In a medium bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir thoroughly until no dry brownie mix remains and the batter is smooth.
  4. Scoop Batter: Using a 1-inch cookie scoop, portion the batter into each muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full to allow room for rising.
  5. Bake Brownie Bites: Bake the brownie bites in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, then remove and transfer the pan to a cooling rack. Allow to cool for 15 minutes in the pan.
  6. Remove and Cool Completely: Carefully remove each brownie bite from the pan using a fork if necessary and place them on a cooling rack to cool completely before adding toppings.
  7. Whip Cream: In a large bowl, use a mixer with a wire whip attachment to whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  8. Add Vanilla Pudding Mix: Add the instant vanilla pudding mix to the whipped cream and beat again until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip to prevent the cream from congealing.
  9. Prepare Strawberries: Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice a small portion off the pointed end to create a flat tip.
  10. Assemble Santa Hats: Fill a piping bag fitted with a #21 tip with the whipped cream mixture. Pipe a full layer of cream on each brownie bite, then place a strawberry large end down on top. Pipe a small dollop of cream on the tip of each strawberry to resemble a Santa hat pompom.

Notes

  • Make sure brownies are completely cool before adding the whipped cream to prevent melting.
  • Use fresh, firm strawberries to maintain shape and appearance.
  • Instant vanilla pudding mix stabilizes whipped cream for better holding shape.
  • For extra festive flair, dust with powdered sugar or edible glitter.
  • Store assembled brownie bites in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days for optimal freshness.
