  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

A simple and flavorful Sheet Pan Chicken and Potatoes recipe featuring tender chicken breasts and crispy baby Yukon gold potatoes, glazed with a sweet honey garlic butter sauce. Perfect for an easy, all-in-one meal baked in the oven with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken and Potatoes

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 pound baby Yukon gold potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning

Honey Garlic Butter Glaze

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Make the glaze: In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer gently for 5-6 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Prepare chicken and potatoes: Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness to ensure uniform cooking. Cut the baby Yukon gold potatoes into quarters or sixths, making sure the pieces are about the same size for even roasting.
  4. Arrange on baking sheet: Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Arrange the potato pieces evenly around the chicken.
  5. Season and oil: Drizzle the chicken and potatoes with oil. Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, pepper, paprika, and Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning for a flavorful crust.
  6. Apply the glaze: Pour the prepared honey garlic butter glaze evenly over the chicken breasts.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C) and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.

Notes

  • Make sure to cut potatoes into uniform sizes to promote even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check chicken doneness for safety and juiciness.
  • Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning adds rich flavor; substitute with your favorite steak seasoning if needed.
  • You can substitute Yukon gold potatoes with baby red potatoes or fingerlings if preferred.
  • For a crispy finish, broil the dish for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking but watch carefully to avoid burning.
