Ingredients
Scale
Cream Mixture
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 16g vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
- 16g stabilizer for whipping cream (klopfix)
- 350ml cream (unwhipped)
- 30g grated coconut
- 175g condensed milk
Filling
- Ladyfingers (preferably the thicker, larger variety), quantity sufficient for layering (about 20 pieces)
- 200ml coconut milk
Garnish
- Grated coconut, as needed for sprinkling
- Raffaello confections, 6-8 pieces
- Hazelnuts, roughly 30g
Instructions
- Prepare Cream Mixture: In a chilled bowl, whip the 350ml cream with 16g vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract) and 16g whipped cream stabilizer until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold in the 250g mascarpone cheese, 30g grated coconut, and 175g condensed milk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Soak Ladyfingers: Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the 200ml coconut milk just long enough to soak but not become soggy. Quickly transfer to your serving dish to form the first layer.
- Layering: Spread a generous portion of the mascarpone and coconut cream mixture evenly over the soaked ladyfingers. Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the cream mixture until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cream layer on top.
- Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the tiramisu to set firmly.
- Garnish: Before serving, sprinkle grated coconut evenly over the top layer. Decorate with Raffaello confections and hazelnuts placed artistically for a textured and appealing finish.
Notes
- Use thick ladyfingers to prevent them from becoming overly soggy when soaked.
- Stabilizer helps maintain whipped cream texture; you can omit it but textures may soften faster.
- Chilling overnight enhances flavor development and texture.
- For a vegan version, substitute mascarpone with vegan cream cheese, use coconut cream instead of whipping cream, and select vegan ladyfingers.
- Adjust sweetness by reducing condensed milk if preferred less sweet.
